Off and running (not quite ...)

I'll drag my weary hips plus a now sore ingrown toenail - BTW, if you haven't figured it out already, A-G-E is not funny ...) - off to the other side of the world: destination Panamá Family (not Papers), Peru and Bolivia.

I am currently in Sydney having taken an earlish flight from Melbourne this morning (I took the train to Melb yesterday and had dinner and stayed the night with Alison; MANAGED TO SHED 3.5 KILOS OF LUGGAGE AT HER PLACE WITH HER HELP - yay!!!).

In an hour, the plan is to be enroute to San Francisco where I'll spend a day until my late flight out to Panamá tomorrow.

I'll spend a week there with Kathryn, Regis and Sophie (!!) and then meet The Other Pam (TOP - or maybe PC for her initials is better? Will have to work this one out!) in Lima on 24 April.

Our trip will then resemble (hopefully) something like this (but not exactly as I have "pinched" this map off the Internet - still, it is a pretty close approximation of our itinerary):

If the technology fails me (or I drop off the Earth somewhere) this may be all you'll get by way of blog and I'll leave you to imagine the rest ... OR you can take it or leave at this point.

P.S. Talking of A-G-E, in Melbourne, last weekend, someone gave up their seat for me on a train ... OMG.

  4. Ingrown toe nail! - solution involves the accurate application of a high speed axe to the affected area - suggest you leave it until you are in the proximity of appropriate medical assistance - was that helpful?
